Smartfleet selects Chargefox as EV charging provider

To further support our clients in your smart transition to Net Zero emissions, we’ve selected Chargefox to deliver the largest and fastest growing Electric Vehicle (EV) charging network in Australia to your drivers.

Through Chargefox, your drivers will have access to the 1,200-charging station network that they manage nationwide. Drivers simply tap the card to start and stop their charging. With thousands of plugs across these stations, the Chargefox public network includes standard AC (up to 22kW), Rapid (up to 50kW) and ultra-rapid chargers (~100/150kW+). And the best part? Many of these charging stations are completely free to use.

The nationwide network gives your drivers the flexibility and ease of travelling between locations, with the ability to top up charging away from base. All they have to do is download the Chargefox app to view all the locations and plug types. Clients can choose between a card or key fob, each featuring radio-frequency identification (RFID) capability. Through the Chargefox app, a driver can find instructions on how to use the RFID card onsite. RFID identifies the charger that the vehicle is using. Usage and costs are then provided to Smartfleet for reporting and recharge.

As an added bonus, the RFID functionality may also allow the same card or fob to be used on a smart charger conveniently installed direct on your premises. In the coming months, we’ll be in touch with all of our clients to share further details on charging infrastructure solutions.

Please reach out to your Client Relationship Manager or contact us here to discuss having Chargefox linked to your Smartfleet account.
